LG enV2 Upcoming… Hints Voyager2?
March 15th, 2008
The LG VX9100 has apparently shown up in a few sample press releases by either Verizon or LG and the name enV2 has been tossed around the rumor mill.
This is good news for folks who didn’t want to spend the extra cash for a Voyager that did a little too much for their needs. While the Voyager is a heckuva phone (need we even profess that?) some people simply don’t need a phone with all the bells and whistles. The enV2 will offer a lot of those bells and whistles at a portion of the price.
The interesting thing here is the positive signs this sends to current Voyager Fans. The enV has obviously been such an incredibly successful phone that continuing the model with a second round was seen as a logical next step. The Voyager, arguably both the LG and Verizon phone receiving the most fanfare in either company’s history, would certainly come with a “sequel” phone if it followed the enV2 logic.

We snagged the above image from engadget as you can see by the watermark. Looks likeĀ a pretty nice phone. Not exactly a Voyager but it’s already wetting our appetite for an LG Voyager2. We’re not in any REAL rush though… we enjoy the ones we’ve got just fine!
